By December 29, 2021, the company's footprint extended to 369 Shacks worldwide. This total comprised 218 company-operated units within the U.S., 25 domestically licensed establishments, and 126 internationally licensed locations. Founded in 2001, Shake Shack Inc. is headquartered in New York City.
